Pinewood Derby BSA Polished Axles
These are the BSA axles that come up in the BSA Cub Scout Pinewood Derby M Prix kit.
Burrs removed on axle shaft
- You must remove these burrs of they will grind inside the cycle bore.
Crimp marks removed from underside of caput
- Crimp marks must be removed or they will grind into your wheel, slowing your car like ABS brakes!
Nail caput is cut back at an angle
- Angling the head reduces friction where the head meets the bicycle.
Polished
- The axle is and then polished to remove imperfections. However, these axles are not as adept equally our Speed Axles higher up...nosotros recommend a light polishing to improve operation.
